About Knotty Tawny

My love for macramé started in my teens when I found a handful of 70's macramé design books which provided me with some amazing one-of-a-kind projects. Since then, I've dabbled in all sorts of art forms including photography, ceramics, oil painting, interior design, welding, screen-printing, and jewelry making. I came back to macramé in 2020 when I had an opportunity to start my business and create pieces as a vendor in a local venue in Nampa, Idaho.

Since 2021, I have been able to create macrame as a full-time artist. I consider my art an ever-evolving craft that draws from my love of nature, the beautiful Idaho mountains, my family and friends, and my science background. My goal is to create beautiful, aesthetic, and functional one-of-a-kind handcrafted macramé for everyone. You can find me most weekends out at a market of festival throughout the Treasure Valley…follow me on social media and come say “Hi!”.
